MDM Lite Accelerator
Artha proposes a unique proposition of MDM in collaboration with Amurta’s Data Insights Platform (DIP), a leading data governance and Master Data Management platform.
Artha MDM Lite is a lightweight MDM solution that is easy to build and maintain. The solution is delivered using Talend data fabric combined with Amurta’s Data Insights Platform, to provide a comprehensive solution to meet the MDM needs of many organizations, without a need to spend tons of money in license costs and years of time in implementations.
Artha’s MDM Lite is tightly coupled with Amurta’s DIP platform that offers rich Data Quality & Data Governance tools that ensure that the Source data is that is ingested into the MDM process flow is of the highest quality.
The solution uses Talend processes behind the scenes, operate based on the configurations defined by the user and perform the task of validating, matching and merging the source data to generate the Golden Records to be stored in the MDM Data Hub.
The Data Modeler enables users to build data model(s) and deploy them to the configured back-end database known as the MDM Data Hub.
The MDM Configuration tool that enables the user to define and configure the Match and Survivorship processes.
Master Data Browser
The Master Data Browser, a web application that provides a user interface for the creation and maintenance of golden records). This tool offers rich functionality such as
- Hierarchy views
- Household view, where applicable
- An advanced search function to locate golden records, any relationships, and hierarchy
The DIP – MDM Lite is closely integrated with Amurta’s DIP platform that offers rich data quality and data governance tools that ensure that the source data ingested into the MDM process flow is of the highest quality.

MDM-Lite also offers the following functionalities:
Business users create a repository for each domain as data model. The screen below displays a list of data models being used in an organization. The user can add or create a new data model. The entity counts and modified date are also included in this view.
Model Data Browser
Business users can access the master data in the “Master Data Browser”. The screen below shows the data models the user can choose from.
“Operational Metrics” displays the statistics of processes used to integrate sources with MDM Lite. The user can select a data model and include optional filters like Talend job name, source name, and process run time. Once the desired options are selected, user can click the ‘Search’ button to display a dashboard with the total records extracted, records excluded/filtered, and records processed and failed.
The “Mass Update” tab is used configure rules that will be applied on master records. The user can click on ‘Create New’ button to configure new set of rules.
