MDM Lite Accelerator
Artha possesses a unique Master Data Management (MDM) proposition in collaboration with Amurta’s Data Insights Platform (DIP), leading data governance and MDM platform.
Artha’s MDM Lite is a lightweight solution that is easy to build and maintain. We deliver this solution using Talend data fabric joined with Amurta’s Data Insights Platform (DIP), to provide a comprehensive solution that meets the MDM needs of many organizations, without the need to spend substantial amounts of money in license costs and years of time in implementations.
Artha’s MDM Lite goes hand-in-hand with Amurta’s DIP platform, which offers rich data quality and data governance tools that ensure that the source data being ingested is of the highest quality.
This solution utilizes Talend behind the scenes, operating based on user-defined configurations, and validating, matching, and merging the source data to generate a Golden Record to be stored in the MDM Data Hub.
Data Modeler
The Data Modeler enables users to build data model(s) and deploy them to the configured back-end database known as the MDM Data Hub.
MDM Configuration
The MDM Configuration tool enables the user to define and configure the match and survivorship processes.
Master Data Browser
The Master Data Browser is a web application that provides a user interface for the creation and maintenance of Golden Record(s. This tool offers rich functionality such as
- Hierarchy views
- Household view (when applicable)
- An advanced search function to locate golden records, relationships, and hierarchy

MDM-Lite also offers the following functionalities:
Data Model
Business users create a repository for each domain as a data model. The screen below displays a list of data models being utilized by an organization. The user has the ability to add, or create, a new data model. The entity counts and modified date are also included in this view.
Master Data Browser
Business users can access the master data in Master Data Browser. The screen below shows the data models the user can choose from.
Operational Metrics
Operational Metrics displays the statistics of processes used to integrate sources with MDM Lite. The user can select a data model and include optional filters like Talend job name, source name, and process run time. Once the desired options are selected, user can click the ‘Search’ button to display a dashboard with the total records extracted, records excluded/filtered, and records processed and failed.
Mass Update
The Mass Update tab is used to configure rules that will be applied to master records. The user can click on ‘Create New’ button to configure new set of rules.
