Job: Data Engineer / Sr. Data Engineer / Big Data Architect

Positions: Multiple

Preferable Locations: Scottsdale and Naperville

We are looking for talented individuals to become part of our growing business and grow with us. The right person should have progressive experience of working on various technologies, databases, data management, data integration, and cloud computing.

Exposure or experience of working on Big Data, Data warehouse, reporting, and analytical projects is an added advantage besides working on various project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile is a plus. The role and compensation will depend upon the exposure to technology areas implementation projects and  industry vertical knowledge.

Education: BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent

 Skills, Experience:

  • Experience varies with the job title/ grade, should have three years working experience or more relevant experience in one or more areas such as Data Integration, databases & data lake /warehousing areas, BI, data analytics, data science areas
  • Working experience in any one of the ETL tools like Informatica / Ab Initio/ DataStage / SSIS or Talend Data Fabric is required.
  • Working experience with cloud technologies, Cloud Computing Experience on AWS or Azure or GCP is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and working experience in SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, any other relational databases such as SQL Server, MY SQL are required. In addition to RDBMS, exposure to working on NoSQL databases, Snowflake, cloud MPP databases is preferred
  • Experience in any or all the languages such as Java, Python, R, Scala is an advantage.
  • Working experience of Big Data Technologies, Hadoop ecosystem, and Spark experience or data science areas is preferred
  • Persons with professional certifications (example: AWS / Azure/ GCP/ Talend) is an advantage.
  • Working experience with enterprise scheduling tools is an advantage.

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Exposure to various SDLC processes such as waterfall, agile, etc.
  • Worked as an individual contributor for data engineer level roles, with a progressive experience of leading internal, customer teams and experts for higher roles
  • Well organized and able to manage projects work in a fast-paced, environment.
  • Attention to detail and quality; excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new tools and applications.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to business users and management.
  • Experience with setup, configuration, design best practices, performance optimization, team-based development approaches with leading ETL/ BI / Cloud and data science tools.

  • Ability to travel across the USA with short notice and flexibility to support projects with teams in different time zones
